Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Based on the embedded service concept, this paper designs the embedded service framework of medical library, and studies the embedded service practice, which can be used as reference for the embedded service of medical library.[Method/process] After studying the principle, development process and service model of the embedded service model, this paper designs the embedded service framework of the medical library according to readers' needs and the initial embedded service practice. Under this framework, the embedded services in different fields are studied. The extensibility and expandability of content, role and medical library services, and the implementation of embedded service practices and service results under the guidance of this embedded service framework are discussed.[Result/conclusion] Under the embedded service model, "the library is a growing organism", the library productivity can be improved, the professional scope of librarians will continue to expand, and the personalized embedded service model is the future development direction of medical library services.
