Post-knowledge Service Era: Ideas, Horizons and Transformation

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Knowledge services enter a new era, due to the comprehensive impact of various technological environments and social environments, knowledge services face new opportunities and challenges. Study the development process of knowledge service, explore the ideas, horizons and how to realize the transformation of knowledge service in the new era to promote the development of knowledge service theory and practice.[Method/process] The knowledge service is divided into two stages:pre-knowledge service and post-knowledge service. By comparing, this paper reveals the different environments and characteristics of each stage. Facing the future, it puts forward the development ideas and requirements for the post-knowledge service era from the perspectives of ideas, horizon and transformation.[Result/conclusion] The pre-knowledge service era is the result of the transformation of information services, It presents three major directions:technicalization, informatization and digitalization. The post-knowledge service era requires updating the ideas, expanding the horizon, and promoting the transformation of knowledge services from the combination of technology and humanities, multidisciplinary and intelligent.
