[Purpose/significance] With regards to the current scholarship of flipped classroom research, a flipped classroom teaching model is constructed, based on the theory of teaching objective classification. The relevant empirical research is then conducted to verify the feasibility of the model, in order to provide reference for our colleagues. [Method/process] The teaching model is applied in the graduate students' course of Medical Literature Management and Information Analysis, and the implementation measures of each stage are elaborated and summarized from both the teacher's perspective and the students' perspective. [Result/conclusion] The empirical research leads to the conclusion that the flipped classroom teaching is effective. The successful teaching results from the support of teaching theory, the learner-centered instructional design, well-prepared micro-curriculum resources, the application of educational technology, and a fully functional teaching platform.
