[Purpose/significance] This paper compares and analyzes the main methods of collecting electronic resources using statistical data by libraries in China at present, and solves the problem that the existing technology method cannot acquire the electronic resource access information based on the Https protocol.[Method/process] The technology is improved on the basis of the existing collection mode based on bypass monitoring. Through the policy routing and Fiddler agent, the Https protocol based access to electronic resource usage statistics and analysis of data is achieved. Base on this, the electronic resource utilization statistical analysis system is designed and applied.[Result/conclusion] This paper solves the problem of collecting data on the usage of electronic resources based on the Https protocol and provides a reference for other libraries to collect their own statistical data on the usage statistics of electronic resources.
