[Purpose/significance] The paper mainly explores the inherent factors of rural reading difficulty groups. Besides, it provides the reference for the improvement of the rural reading service and further research on the rural reading problems. [Method/process] According to the survey about reading in Heilongjiang Province, after the division of the reading requirement into multi-elements, the thesis analyzed the inner poverty reading condition of the rural group. Besides, the impact and the constraint of the rural culture were also discussed. [Result/conclusion] The basic reason of the failure of the continuous construction and service for rural reading is that the inherent insufficiency of the rural reading difficulty group is ignored. Currently, it is the key point to help the reading difficulty group break through the reading needs, reading abilities and hindrance of the poverty in reading culture.
