The New Expand of Subject Service Under the Environment of Open Science

[Purpose/significance] This paper analyzes the concept and category of open science and delves into the necessity and new service of expanding subject service of research libraries under open science environment, which provides a new reference for the subject service work of academic library. [Method/process] It refers to the relevant research and practice at home and abroad and delves into the necessity of developing the new service of the subject librarian in the open science environment. [Result/conclusion] The subject librarian can expand new service area from publicity, promotion, consultation and training services, knowledge service of scientific research process, and redevelopment service of academic resources under open science environment. And it gives some implementation suggestions for reference from the implementation mode, team building and training programs.
