Analysis on Model for Cooperation Between Libraries and Publishers on Academic Book Publishing and Promotion

[Purpose/significance] This paper puts forward the service model for cooperation between libraries and publishers on academic book publishing and promotion, in order to improve the publishing quality of academic books, promote academic communication and promote the innovation and development of libraries and publishers.[Method/process] Using the literature and network investigation research methods, this paper analyzes the crisis and opportunities faced by the current academic book publishing and promotion, summarizes the current situation and existing problems of the cooperation between domestic and foreign libraries and publishers on academic book publishing and promotion, puts forward the new mode of cooperation, and discusses the problems to be solved in this cooperation model.[Result/conclusion] This paper constructs the cooperation model from building academic book publishing and promotion platform, carrying out the academic book publishing literacy education, strengthening the cooperation of data, formulating effective cooperation policy, establishing long-term and stable fund guarantee system and establishing good communication and coordination mechanism, so as to make the cooperation more deeper, professional and efficient, actively promote the generation, dissemination and sharing of academic research achievements, and advance the development of discipline and academic prosperity.
