[Purpose/significance] The indexes of evaluating authors influence in the fields are gradually increasing, but a lot of indexes are not normalized. Aimed to solve this problem, this article introduces a new index, GN-index, for more exact evaluating authors influence by Bertoli-Barsotti Lucio based on G-index and total citations et al. This study makes some modifications based on the problem that GN-index does not take cooperation into consideration when evaluating author's influence and named GN-C-index.[Method/process] Firstly, the paper introduces the core ideas of GN-C-index, and the similarities/differences compared with G-index. Then it selects the literature records from the subject of "Library and Information Science and Digital Library" from CNKI (2005-2014) to analyze its stability, correlation, and differentiation.[Result/conclusion] The empirical research shows that GN-C-index has superior discriminative capability, different sensibilities and correlations with total citations, number of authors and author's signature order et al.
