A Study on the Management Tactics for the Patent Activities of Enterprises Based on the Assessment of Influential Factors of Patent Value

[Purpose/significance] Patent evaluation is one of the important aspects of technological management; it is a useful measure for technological management to assess the influential factors of patent value.[Method/process] The patent information, such as patent value (PV), patent family (PF), number of patent citation (NPC), number of patent claims (NC), PTO length (PTO), and age of patent (AP) were collected from the Patent Information Searching Platform, INNOGRAPHY. The influential factors of patent value were assessed by the model of multiple linear regression, and the management tactics for the patent activities of enterprises would be proposed according to the results of regression.[Result/conclusion] Regression results show that PF, NPC, NC and PTO showed a positive correlation with PV, and AP showed a negative correlation with PV.
