Abstract

[Purpose/significance] This paper objectively presents the global competitive situation of vanderpool through patent citation analysis method. [Method/process] This paper explains the global competition background of vanderpooland analyzes the citations of global vanderpool and the IPC distributions,which makes the TOP 50 enterprises of global vanderpool patent number as the overall sample. This paper regards Huawei as a research objectthrough subject retrieval in Innography, constructing relevant data set of vanderpool and using methods of patent backward citation and patent forward citation. [Result/conclusion] IBM, Microsoft, Intel and HP are leaders in the field of vanderpool. SAP SE, Commvault Systems, Citrix System, Amazon, and Tekelecs areemerging competitors. IPC distributions of the main fields of vanderpool focus on G06F09, G06F12, G06F15, G06F11, G06F17, G06F13, G06F03, H04L12. Currently G06F01 and H04L09 are declining, but G06F07, H04L29 and H04W04 gradually become technical hot spots.
