Research on Key Success Factors of Information Literacy MOOCs in Academic Universities

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Research on key success factors of information literacy MOOCs in academic universities will give some references and suggestions to the building and development of information literacy MOOCs in Chinese universities. [Method/process] It investigates 27 information literacy MOOCs in academic universities and summarizes key success factors of information literacy MOOCs based on five main teaching steps including instructional design, course content, teaching method, teaching assessment and teaching effect by using typical case studies and expert interviews. [Result/conclusion] It analyzes and summarizes six key success factors of information literacy MOOCs and will have certain guiding meanings on the building and practice of information literacy MOOCs in Chinese universities.
