Research on the Implementation Model of Reading Therapy in Private University Libraries

[Purpose/significance] There is a virgin area in private university for research on reading therapy. The implementation model of reading therapy should be promoted to make up for the lack of mental health education in private universities.[Method/process] In the implementation model of reading therapy,the research focuses on the main route. According to psychological characteristics of private university students, service objects of reading therapy are divided into three categories, including freshmen, grade two or three students and graduates. By contrast,document resources are divided into three types of adjustment, self development and employment guidance.[Result/conclusion] As the innovation of mental health education, an implementation model of reading therapy in private universities should be promoted, which is conducive to not only the development of library information services, but also the diversification of psychological education.
