Empirical Research on Tacit Knowledge Transfer Phenomenon in the Second Class of a University Library

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Based on the theory of social network theory, this paper discusses the observation channel of tacit knowledge transfer phenomenon in the second class of a university library. [Method/process] Taking the Yale Course of Jiangsu university library as a case to analyze the readers interaction social network and the model of influence factors on tacit knowledge transfer phenomenon with social network analysis and structural equation modeling method. [Result/conclusion] This paper finds that case participants' tacit knowledge transfer effect is affected by the second class's idea, the demand of readers, the library environment design, the selection of incentives and the readers' social network characteristics. At the same time it envisages the model of culture librarians.
