The User Privacy Protection Problems and Countermeasures in Library User Information as a Resource

[Purpose/significance] This paper mainly discusses strategies of user privacy information protection when library user information has become into "information as resources".[Method/process] Literature review and interview survey methods were used in this article to make an analysis on the problem of information security caused by the process of library user information as a resource in the big data environment.[Result/conclusion] How to protect the personal information,especially the sensitive information or personal privacy, is also discussed in the article. When the library users' personal information are developed and utilized, such methods as acquisition with legal tools, proper processing and storage, rational utilization and sharing within control, would enhance the mutual trust and close relationship between the library and users, which will promote the sustainable development of the library.
