Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Through analyzing and summarizing major technologies and methods applied as well as current research on information behavior of mobile users, we forecast the development prospect in that area so as to search for new breakthroughs.[Method/process] We first summarize current research and application of information behavior of mobile users in diverse fields. Then, we estimate research targets, paradigms, methods, and strategies from different dimensions based on industry segmentation. After that, we track the research structures and research methods applied by foreign research teams from different aspects. And at last, we forecast the research prospect of information behavior of mobile users.[Result/conclusion] Research on information behavior of mobile users will develop from diverse industries and angles to data fusion and big data application development.
