The Viewpoint Analysis in the Philosophy Theory of Contemporary Information Science Under Different Perspectives

This paper analyzes the viewpoint and incidence relation of philosophy theory of contemporary information science by induction and dialectical methods, which includes 20 kinds of philosophy. ①These philosophy theories can be reduced to Marxism, scientism, humanism and others. ②Marxist philosophy theory is at the highest level on guiding information science, and indicates that information science research should follow some basic thoughts and principles. Scientist philosophy theory emphasizes that information science research should be scientific and focus on how to solve the intelligence problem from technical aspect, so as to improve the efficiency of users obtaining and using information. Humanist philosophy theory emphasizes that information science research should adopt hermeneutic methods to explore the issues of information science, which ultimate goal is to pursue the value of the information users' dignity and freedom. Philosophy of information, social epistemology and postmodernism can also provide some unique guidance for information science. ③The research of information science should take Marxist as the philosophy foundation and accept the guidance of multiple philosophy theory in future.
