Abstract

The book of Tracing the Libraries of Henan County Level in Ancient Times is not only the first compilation which scientifically and systemically summerizes the historical development of county-level libraries in henan province scope but also a historical long volume about the construction of the fundamental libraries in a century period, which is full and accurate,has rigorous argument and a huge project. It should circulate in academie and promote the further research of the history of regional libraries. There are some defects as well, such as the insufficient analysis between counties and lack of useage of oral account materials.
