[Purpose/significance] This paper aims to grasp the research status about open link of knowledge organization systems in China to provide reference and inspiration for research of open link of knowledge organization systems in China.[Method/process] This study reviews the domestic related research through retrievaling the literature database and investigating the network to display and analyze the current achievements in the research of open link of traditional knowledge organization systems in China from the aspect of diversified models to build the semantic knowledge organization systems.[Result/conclusion] Compared to the related research abroad, we find thatthe semantic description framework has limited expression ability for traditional KOS,that the domestic current research is lack of the quality control over the re-engineered ontology models,that the semantic knowledge organization systems is less published on the Web as Linked Data,and that there is little research on subsequent problems such as establishing matching relations among datasets ontologies of the linked data web.Thus,we need to extend the existing semantic models,to attach great importance to quality control over the re-engineered ontology models, and we should enhance the openness and sharing of research results, so that we will gradually realize the transition from theory to practice.
