[目的/意义]对国外关于图书馆对高等教育的作用和对学生的影响方面的研究成果进行梳理介绍,以期为我国学界开展该领域的研究提供一定的帮助。[方法/过程]通过文献综述对这些研究成果按照研究指标、研究对象、研究目标与成果、重要项目等进行梳理。[结果/结论]国外学者建立了高校图书馆影响评估指标与模型,证明了图书馆与学生学业的关联,采用多种定量与定性研究方法开展研究,将研究成果保存并推广到其他机构。
[Purpose/significance] This article introduces the achievements on university and college libraries' roles on higher education and impact on students abroad, to provide reference for researchers to conduct the research in China.[Method/process]This article summarizes these research from many perspectives, such as research indicators, research objects and outcome, and important projects.[Result/conclusion]The foreign researchers have built the evaluation indexes and models of university libraries' impact, proved the correlation between libraries and students' study, adopted quantitative and qualitive research methods to conduct research, preserved the research outcomes and promoted to other organizations.
