[Purpose/significance] Search engine is an important entrance to the user access to the Internet resources, and the identification and analysis of users' search strategies can explore the cognitive law of user searches, and make the search engine better understand users. [Method/process] The Microsoft sequence analysis and clustering analysis algorithm was applied to analyze the search time of user search logs, to identify the search strategies users commonly used when using a search engine, and to summarize the characteristics of different types of search strategies.[Result/conclusion] There are quick consumption strategy, trial strategy, exploratory strategy and termination & confirmation strategy in user network searches, and different strategies have different characteristics in terms of search time, the number of browsing and user cognitive process.
