[目的/意义] 梳理和总结现代图书馆学研究方法的演变历程和发展特征,对于图书馆学研究者理解、选择和使用研究方法具有重要意义。[方法/过程] 采用内容分析法对Library quarterly创刊至今所载研究性论文使用的研究方法进行归类、统计和分析。[结果/结论] 结果显示,现代图书馆学研究方法的演变过程实则是对实证方法的扬弃过程,当前图书馆学研究呈现出研究方法多元化的特点。
[Purpose/significance] This paper aims to review and summarize the evolution and development status of modern library science research methods, which is of great significance for library science researchers to understand, select and use research methods.[Method/process] In this paper, the content analysis method was used to classify, count and analyze research methods of research papers published in Library Quarterly from 1931 to 2015.[Result/conclusion] It is found that the evolution of modern library science research methods is the sublation of the empirical method and the research methods of modern library science have multiple characteristics.
