Combined with the rapid development of new media's potential market and service characteristics, this article analyses new forms of public library services in the new media era. Based on the current situation of new services such as the mobile library, library microblog, library wechat, library's mobile applications and digital TV library, it explores the content, function design and business characteristics of new media services for the public libraries, in order to enhance its professional ability construction in new era.
