Due to the complexity of the domain ontology itself and the heterogeneity between domain ontologies, methods for mapping domain ontologies become one of difficulties in ontology mapping. This paper proposes a theoretical model for mapping multiple domain ontologies and aggregation. Guided by this model, a mapping experiment between RxNorm and NDF-RT (the National Drug File-Reference Terminology) is conducted with a new approach for mapping. The classification and aggregation for drug information in RxNorm based on the classification mechanism provided by NDF-RT is realized. This paper provides a new thinking for the semantic interconnection of digital resources.
