This paper takes Scorpion Species and Toxins Database of Wuhan University library for example, and introduces the construction of scorpion species and toxins data management platform based on Dspace. It analyzes the platform selection, system objects and data types, and describes its localization implementation and secondary development. Finally, it provides some thoughts and suggestions on constructing Dspace-based scientific data management platform.
