The development of network technology and the establishment of university library consortium create favorable conditions for subject service cooperation. By making full use of these conditions, university library consortium can develop subject service cooperation from many aspects, like reference, user information literacy education, sci-tech novelty retrieval, and information gateway construction etc. In order to promote the effective, orderly and sustainable development of subject service cooperation, it is necessary to co-construct and share the team and platform of subject service. In addition, we must have the guarantee of system, funds, central library and core subject librarian.
