Based on years of strategic subject information service and practice, the authors divide strategic subject information research products into two categories: dynamically monitoring and reporting subject information products and subject information research report products. According to user needs and different services levels of subject information, subject information research reports also can be divided into six categories. In addition, they discuss the different research process and research methods of different subject information products according to different decision-making needs, and explore the knowledge construction of subject information researchers and quality assurance of subject information products.
