By generalizing the basic situation of the library major at vocational colleges, the paper points out that the designing of fostering proposals for the library major at vocational level should be vocationally-natured, pragmatically applicable, and operational in contents. In line with this basic principle, the curriculum planning should be focused on the innovation of teaching perspective and teaching methods that fostering the students’ working skills and capabilities.
