简要介绍IC的理论及其发展，以表格的形式描述中国19所高校及科研图书馆已建成或正在筹建的IC现状，分析中国高校IC构建的特点，针对现存的问题提出相应的对策。旨在提供信息共享空间（以下简称IC）在中国大陆及港澳台地区的最新进展情况，并为高校IC创建提供相关参考。

This paper aims to depict the latest progress of information commons(IC for short) in China mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and looks forward to offering some references to those colleges and universities which intend to build an IC. The authors first give a brief introduction to IC theory and its followup study, and then presents the status of the established and establishing ICs in 19 universities.This paper also analyzes the features of IC in China and finally proposes some measures for its construction.
